Courier Van Leasing

Lease a courier van
without the mileage catching you out.

Courier work covers serious miles — often 30,000 or more a year. We introduce you to funders who set the allowance around real courier mileage, not a private driver's estimate.

Common Questions

Courier van leasing, answered

Yes — tell the funder and insurer what the van is actually used for. Leasing it as a private or general business vehicle and then running courier work on it without disclosure risks both the agreement and your cover.
Base it on your actual weekly rounds rather than a national average — full-time multi-drop courier work commonly runs 25,000 to 40,000 miles a year. Underestimating it is the single most common way people end up with a large excess bill.
Usually with the funder's permission, provided everything is removed and any damage made good before the van goes back. Get that agreement in writing at the start, not when you're handing the van in.
Leasing fixes the monthly cost and hands the depreciation risk to the funder, which suits couriers who like predictability. If you plan to keep running the van for years past the term, hire purchase builds toward ownership instead.
Leasing funders are generally stricter on credit than hire purchase lenders. If leasing isn't realistic for your file we'll tell you early and switch you to courier van finance instead.
